fortunate that both Lock and Gabbert were local players with MU ties and have NFL talent skill sets but he also had plenty of other good QB during his tenure.

So, no...he's not GP when it comes to bringing in QB's to this point, hopefully that changes. Cook is a game manager QB so it's difficult to have to high of expectations, he just doesn't have the arm talent of a NFL QB.
