and their qb's, you could probably argue that he's no worse than pinkel or even odom.
pinkel hit on several of our all-time favorite qb's but there were also a lot who did't pan out. i think he made it a point to take multiple qb's just about every year because he knew it was a bit of a crap shoot. and honestly, some of his "hits" might have been pretty lucky, because most were gambles. Brad Smith was projected by most as more of a WR than a QB. a lot thought Franklin would be a TE. even Chance McDaniels was a gamble who was overlooked by everyone else. Gabbert might have been his only sure-fire qb recruit.
