they were when the committee ranked the teams last year.

Missouri would have been "picked" as you say. You realize they start ranking teams in October. They don't just wait until the end of the season and pick whatever team they want. This isn't like the basketball tournament/

Again, Missouri had the best OOC win last year beating the number 15 ranked team in the country.
