neutral site games every once in a while against regional programs of interest played in KC or StL (assuming they can afford to buy a decent turf) are fine. not every year, but every couple of years is fine. or games in significant recruiting areas, like playing some lower-tier texas school in Dallas. or a marquee opponent like notre dame in chicago or something.
