as I wasn't born until '76. So my view of anything really before the Jeff Handy era is...non-existent.

All that said, even with your elegant and eloquent praise of Moore, I would at most move #45 to "I'll allow debate". I will die on the hill of I think Chase Coffman was absolutely, without a doubt, 100% as good or better than Travis Kelce has ever been as a pass-catching TE. The Bengals drafted him and tried to convert him to a blocker, and he missed his change to thrive. But I will never, ever, be convinced otherwise that if Coffman had been used in the NFL the way Travis Kelce is right now that we'd all recognize the Kelce is merely the 2nd best TE to ever play.
