ended his Senior year. He was one of the leading rushers in the nation when he was injured his Senior year in 1970.

Coffman wasn’t mentioned as an All American his Junior year, although he won second team all Big XII that year.

Dave had Chase Coffman as an “very easy answer”, but you feel there isn’t “a clear winner either way” and I would tend to agree with you except I saw both play. Coffman made some spectacular plays, but Moore absolutely dominated games in his junior year.
