Do you realize how silly of a comparison that is?

The Boston Marathon has around half the number of attendees as a Chiefs SB parade & rally.
Marathons may have the streets lined, like a parade, but they don't have the central point, like a rally, with parking and open access points.
Personally,I think they should have the parade and reduce the rally size - and shorten the time (no need for politicians to talk.) Next year, skip the rally altogether, just do the parade, and then in subsequent years, bring back a rally that can have a controlled environment.
