you see things like this happen (I think Bill McCartney at Colorado went 1-10 in football one season before he won a national title).

I think another football coach had a losing record for 3 years before turning it around in season 4 (hey, that sounds vaguely familiar).

Running around clutching pearls and yelling "the sky is falling" usually doesn't work out well.

It's one season. The guy has recruited well and he brought us our first NCAA win in 13 years.

I think people need to take a deep breath and find something else to get upset about - if indeed they're not happy unless they have something to complain about.
