I agree, it is a reasoned position that provides a belief in God.

It is faith that provides hope in the future.

and Hope is NOT the type hope that i had going into my defi-Q tests - "sure hope I pass"

Christian hope is confident expectation of what the future holds, that requires faith in the promises made.
