my beliefs. I took the opposite point of view and started reading Bible scholars, reading the Bible. Then I couldn’t reconcile the caricature of Christianity presented by the “new atheists” with what I was reading in the Bible and what Bible scholars were saying.

Hitchens certainly isn’t writing any new books, but I’ll still check out what the other three write. David Bentley Hart does a pretty good job of treating apart much of the arguments against Christianity that they appeal to.
