Many do not, you are right. But many do and their efforts to change are not made easier by the culture they grow up in. The schools themselves are horrible and there is little accountability or desire to make them better. Why aren’t the so called leaders of these communities making this a primary focus? Why are we focusing on understanding race instead of understanding 2+2, english, science, personal finance, etc.
