so that worked out to $2400 for the year.
In March, my bill went up to $250/month. I don't want to pay that much so I cancel a line as it is outside my budget.. They charge me a termination fee of $200 in April. Starting in April my bill is now $180/month.
So my bills looked like this...
January - $200
February - $200
March - $250
April - $380
May to December $180/month
Using the CDC definition of "excess", that would be $230 excess as I have to zero out all the months I paid less. In reality over the course of the year the excess was $70.
