the process. The two key ones regarding weight regulation are insulin and cortisol.

Doctors have injected leptin into patients but it will not affect their weight. Injecting insulin or cortisol will, however, cause and increase in weight.

Apparently, the current thinking is that insulin is about 75% of the key and cortisol close to 25%.
