currently use are at least 100 years out of date. Teachers constantly discuss this among ourselves. But teachers do not control the system and while I have some freedom in my classroom we have almost zero systematic control.

Education has a very top down structure. The few educators that have any real say in the system have not been a classroom for decades and they are answering to politicians who have no knowledge of education and often no real interest in the system outside of the power it grants them.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
