We did recruit better under GP, usually, than we have lately

2004 - 19 (highest under GP)
2005 - 42
2006 - 43
2007 - 30 (I recall asking why not better?)
2008 - 28
2009 - 38
2010 - 21 (second highest - see record 2014, 14)
2011 - 56 (small class, but WTF? Something was up)
2012 - 33
2013 - 43
2014 - 37
2015 - 25 (not bad, considering)
2016 - 43
2017 - 43
2018 - 43

average: 35.7

These last three classes have been off the mark - it makes me a little morose about our chances in the next 2-3 years. We'll see how we do this year.

I realize that rankings are not everything of course ...
