less athletic version of Jarod Haase. Who I certainly hated.

At times he is able to compensate for his athletic limitations defensively by flopping or allowing himself to be pushed off on-ball defense, and as an offensive ballhandler nothing is more frustrating.

At the time he was signed, it was almost universally viewed as another huge reach by an incompetent staff. But he has proved he can play at this level, and has even managed to thrive playing out of position for 2 years out of necessity.
