need a warrant application to state that the research was requested by clinton - when in FACT, the warrant clearly states that the FBI speculates the research was conducted for dirt on Trump?

The FBI's interactions were with Steele - Simpson didn't tell him who engaged the research. THEREFORE, is it relative whether the information was requested by Clinton (or someone such as Soros - or anyone else who didn't like trump)?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
