just said that his friends were somewhat shocked when Odom was hired, because of his lack of experience. One of those guys asked Pinkel why the hell he would recommend Odom and Pinkel told him flatly "he's a great coach, I think, but I think we should've required more headcoaching experience".

He says "we" because, he still works for the school, you know.
