Wanted to back up a few things posted

Hey Tigerboard. I read your stuff every few months or so to get a gauge of the fanbase outside of my circle, but not really a message board posting kind of guy.
However, over the past couple of months, seen a lot of rumors circulate on here and today's post from "Iam4Mizzou" made we want to hop on and provide what I have heard.
This info comes from a friend (decent sized donor in STL) and my nephew who is a current player (not a starter, fwiw) on the team.
1) Odom's number is 6. Sterk has made it clear to Odom that he must win 6 games, doesn't matter which games they are, but he must win 6 or he is gone. The expectation from Sterk and from Odom at this point is that this is his last season. He is obviously still giving 100%. Feel bad. Met the guy. Great guy, but he wasn't ready for this and I think he knows it now.
2) The team, as Iam4Mizzou mentioned, is very divided with no leadership and lots of strong personalities. The offense thinks the defense is a joke and because they know that if they don't score on every possession, they basically don't care. The players I have heard specifically who are still in it: Lock, the O-line, Johnson, Hall, Crockett, and Witter. This doesn't mean the other players don't care at all, these are the standout players who are making a pretty large effort in practice each week. On the defense, heard Prewitt, Garrett TBJ, Harold, Cheadle and Acy are still giving 100%. Lots of young guys doing their best, but they aren't ready.
3) Gary Pinkel was not given a fair shake at the end of his time. Not elaborating, but they did in fact ignore his advice on hiring the next coach and basically told him that he needs to retire or they were letting him go because he lost control.
