from the other division (e.g. Oklahoma/Alabama/Auburn) they would blow us out by 17+ points.

We never really competed with those schools, even during GP's good years. We did well in the Big 12 North and SEC East especially when those division were down, but as soon as we played a power from the South/West we got annihilated.
