his badge much worse than the guy picking up his victim at a bar? When a cop rapes a girl under power of his badge he has done infinitely more damage.

Now I agree if he does it off duty as a regular guy then he should be treated just like everyone else. No harsher sentencing but also no leniency due to the badge. If cops know they will end up in the general population that should be extra incentive not to commit a crime.
