The truck driver is not exactly analogous to the cop

A truck driver does not have any more authority over the road than I do. (Well, except for the fact that his truck is a lot bigger than my Subaru). He is not abusing his authority by speeding, where a cop might be (definitely are in the East Cleveland case)
