don't matter, why does effort even matter?

Why should we teach kids to try? Let's teach them that trying without results is the same as trying with results - this is your position.

Reality check: It isn't the same. It is as noble, but it isn't the same. Life rewards results and life rewards effort, but they aren't the same. Kids should learn this.
