poor performers?

I rode the pine in HS basketball and got into games when it was out of control (or they needed a stupid foul)...

Did I deserve more time on the court? Heck no!

Would I have been hacked off if coach didn't cut anyone and gave a letter to anyone who tried out? Heck yes!

I EARNED my spot on the team and got the playing time I deserved. I EARNED my letter in the sports I played (and didn't get letters in sports I didn't deserve to also) THAT'S LIFE!
