They gave out participation trophies 30 years ago. In youth sports, getting through a season can be an accomplishment. Youth sports is not just solely about winning and losing..it is about how to win, and how to lose..it is about teamwork, it is about getting through a season. Who has even suggested giving a participation trophy at an adult level (other than something like marathons).

We have the PC police and the anti-PC police out there..they are both equally pathetic.
