recruited them etc I disagree. As a coach you look at the talent on board and you coach him agreed.

Regarding a coach's own players it is huge. Coaches run different systems and look for different types of players. When recruiting a coach will look for not only talent, but heart, aggressiveness, coachability, effort, etc.

When inheriting kids you get attributes that other coaches wanting not necessarily what you want to build your program around. So you adapt for those years.

There are some coaches that fall on their faces when the talent left behind graduates and they have to play with their own recruits. Others fail until they have their own guys.

Basketball it is a lot quicker to bring in your own players and make things happen.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
