games in their first 3 years at a P5 program and went on to make a tourney. That could would be Ed DeChellis from Penn State who won 23 games in his first 3 years and then made the Tourney in his 8th year. He had two seasons above .500 in his 8 years at Penn State. So I've provided you with 13 coaches from the last 15 or so years who failed to do well after struggling at Kim's level their first 3 years and I can find only one who struggled at a similar level and actually made a tourney. Prove me wrong by finding some more.
