FWIW, I'm not in favor of firing him midseason.

Look at that team's schedule. UNC and UVA were elite 8 teams and NC State won it all. That's 7 of their losses right there. Noncon game versus Louisville's final 4 team didn't help either, along with @ Vandy, @ Colorado and a game in California versus Cal.
