we may end up agreeing on more than we disagree on. But I find it strange that the discussion seems to be around minor/non-existent things vs. major violations. Do you not accept that it may well be something in between. Not minor, but not awful horrible things, but something in between, that is open to interpretation by equally well meaning people?
That's what I mean about shades of grey and everything not being absolutely black and white.
I don't accept that there were awful, horrible fireable offenses by EE in part because of how many honorable, good ex players and current players swear by him, and talk about how much he has influenced them in a positive way, and what an amazing role model and coach he has been to them. And how many of them, from Chelsea to Emily and Sami are openly rooting for him to continue as coach at Mizzou. How do you reconcile those opinions, from real people who know far more about what it is like to be in the Mizzou softball program than you or I or I suspect anyone here on this forum? How do you reconcile that? Are these ex-players, and current players, so indifferent to the safety and well being of future players that they would recklessly subject them to a coach who is going to horribly abuse them? C'mon, seriously. Do you really think that?
