Lots of speculation about what EE....

Did or didn't do, said or didn't say. As far as I can tell there is not a single person here, including myself, who has direct knowledge of what the complaints are. The specific complaints. Or even second hand knowledge. EE himself has said he has used the f bombs too liberally, and had exchanges with some players that they all wished had turned out differently. Beyond that, nothing specific. My question is this. Are we ever going to hear what the specific complaints were and who made them?

If he is not fired, I predict we will hear very few specifics. It will be in the interest of everyone involved to talk in generalities. In that scenario, the only specifics could possibly come from a few ex-players and their parents who really want him fired, and believe me, that is out there.

If he is fired, the details pretty much have to come out to a significant degree. The university would have to provide details to justify the firing of a generally beloved, and successful coach, to what would clearly be an infuriated fan base, and a team in protest. And there would possibly be an appeal by EE, and a legal situation, which could compel the release of details.

I just want this to be over, one way or another. Seriously. Anyone who loves Mizzou sports and softball in particular must feel the same way.
