If EE returns, it means either the violations were minor/non-existent, or the University wants people to think they were minor/non-existent. In either situation, an ex-player (or anyone else) who airs their grievances would get accused of lying (or worse). Online vitriol is already bad enough against players like Lowary and Finucane who never publicly complained. I don't think anyone would willfully put themselves through that kind of online reaction.
Although, in this day and age with Twitter and everything, it's possible somebody would post something online without thinking.
