He said that it is not within the scope of the mission of the IMF, nor of the World Bank to advocate for or to fund climate change and DEI type of ideology, and that is spot on. He is absolutely correct.
If those are things that you want, it does not mean that they should be funded by or advocated for by institutions whose actual missions are stable currencies and trade between nations, with an occasional loan and guidance for countries who have mismanaged their economies and need temporary help and guidance to realign their economies for sustainable growth.
Their missions were clearly spelled out when they were formed. Like many government bureaucracies they have strayed far beyond their core missions and are doing a terrible job of carrying out those core missions. He is calling for them to get back on track. That is critically important, as they are currently on a collision course with catastrophe.
If you want DEI & the Green Agenda or any other social big government programs, you should advocate for them in other government agencies and through your own country's government.
