to achieve the goals you presumably desire.

The problem, is that the current system is designed to reward those business leaders who act against a stable and balanced international economy, and the best interests of the US, and punish those who act in a manner that would be most beneficial to the US and its citizens and to the stability and fairness of the international economic system.

Fixing those misaligned incentives and disincentives makes by far the most logical sense, no?
