the only time i've ever not worked in 40 years. A couple guys i play golf with were recently laid off...one does something for Ford and the other is a HVAC guy. They both have to be pretty close to retirement, i know one is 65 and isn't sure what he's going to do about health care, not sure why he couldn't get on medicare, he said he didn't sign up when he turned 65 because he would have been working then but i'd think he still could because his work status changed but i'm not sure how all that works.
