First job I was at for 14 years. I got a few promotions but was kinda stuck unless I wanted to relocate. Left my job for a competitor and it was the best move I've ever made. I make a lot more money, work fewer hours and am much happier in my job.
Job hopping does have its perks, but if you abuse it too many times it will catch up to you.
