How do you keep getting jobs if you're fired 7 times? I

know hiring managers are limited in some of their questions and nobody's going to give a reference that would mention that...that's assuming a hiring manager would reach out to a reference. I've had hiring managers call me and ask about someone who worked for me and i always feel obligated to give a decent reference.
