At one time Immigration was a Great thing because immigrants wanted to assimilate and fall in line with American Culture and even those who where reluctant where forced to by outside pressures to survive.
Now many Immigrants come just for the economic benefits and have zero desire to assimilate to the Western Culture in America. In fact many want to remake America into the previous Culture they fled.
America is already within 50 States Culturally diverse enough from Region to Region. I literally have nothing in common with those on the East or West coast. The last thing America needs is the disease of Foreign Cultures being added to the Mix.
Diversity equals Division. I have no desire to accept or even tolerate the Cultures from abroad in my Home Country.
