constitution and should not be erased by executive order with a subjective interpretation of a clause that which we know was intended for something entirely different. If there is a consensus to change the practice, the constitution provides a method as it did for repealing the 18th amendment (prohibition). That is the way forward for repeal. The only way. I don't have a strong feeling about birthright citizenship but I do have a strong feeling regarding the way to change it. Executive orders leave anything in the constitution open to the whims of any administration that is in power. Everyone here should be concerned about that.
