and the fact is that computer programs can and are biased.
Your real argument is which way and who does the bias benefit. You said it yourself. SEC wins count more than ACC wins, or any other wins for that matter. SEC loses count less than any other losses. And that is one of the metrics you would like someone writing a program to factor in.
Now what happens when a model is chosen which gives equal weighting to wins and losses?
