That's just a single game, and a single game shouldn't determine whether one team is ranked ahead of another.

In fact, that would be impossible since the transitive property doesn't apply to sports.

Mizzou beat Buffalo, which beat Northern Illinois, which beat Notre Dame, which beat Texas A&M, which beat Mizzou...

You have to look at *all* the data. That's why computer are more accurate.
