I read through the entire thing and realized it no longer had replacement value on the roof but had a pro-rated adjustment. I called my agent and complained I'd had replacement value since day 1 and he rewrote the prior policy.

Hailstorm. Adjuster shows up and walks the roof. He goes to his computer and says it won't be good based on the age of the roof (about 17 years). "Oh, we don't write this policy any more. You have replacement value. You'll be OK."

Made out like a bandit with zero out of pocket.
