He played at least one year for Detroit Mercy (Now Detroit) out of high school and transferred to Mizzou. Remember he didn't do much at Mizzou until his senior year an then he lit it up. I remember when I worked at Harpos seeing him sitting with Al McGuire eating lunch before a nationally televised game. Aaahhhh the good old days. Norm basketball and Harpos.
