He wasn't good enough in terms of elevating the program beyond where Norm had it. That isn't what MU is anymore.

We need someone who can build MU back to a middle of the pack SEC team so we can be in a position to make a good long term hire. He is good enough for that, and has proven at multiple stops that is exactly what he is capable of.
