in its basketball coaching hires. Snyder's tenure was seen as somewhat of an embarrassment to the university (Probation, the Clemons fiasco and other innuendo) and coaching hires since that time have been geared towards coaches with a squeaky clean images. I don't see Mizzou ever going for a coach that was fired for abusing players like Marshall. That would be a step in the complete opposite direction we have seen since Snyder. It just isn't going to happen. Nor would we hire Bruce Pearl or Pitino or any number of other coaches with similar pasts for the same reason. They won't make the Kim Anderson mistake again but I doubt if they would go out on a limb with a coach who's character has been called into question.
