because he peaked. Look what happened once he went to an event slightly better conference in the AAC. He was trending down when he had to play even slightly better teams. If he went up to the SEC, I have no doubt he'd fail even worse. Over his last 6 seasons in the MVC, he won an average of 16 conference games. His 3 seasons in the AAC he won 11.6 conference games. A lot of his record and wins is from playing in a lesser conference.
