Marshall would be a good fit here. He did not resign from Whichita State, he was fired. He was fired for cause, years of abuse with players. No coach has recovered from those kind of accusations, for good reason. Who would want to play for someone like that? Not Larry Bird, who left Bobby Knight, and after Knight was fired he never did any solid recruiting at Texas Tech (had a good year or two with an inherited star -- can't remember his name) -- but that was it. Tom Crean let go at Indiana for not getting along with his players, a bust at Georgia. Missouri would be very wise to steer clear of coaches with personality and anger problems, Marshall included.
