In the next round I don't think it will be.
In the next round I think the goal will be 4 sixteen team superconferences. So the next go round I think will be building the best, most attractive 16 team league you can. The B12 is dead in the water and the other for conferences will pick over their carcass and a few of the bigger named leftovers.
OU and the wHorns are the two big targets from the B12. If they cannot sell themselves to the SEC their next visit will be to the West. Who would that then leave for the SEC? Probably two from OSU, ku, Memphis, WVU and Cinncinatti. Those would be much less appealing additions. As toxic as they are the wHorns would be coming hat in hand this time, no demands and no most favored nation status. If they were forced to drop the LHN and joined as one of 16 equals there would be an upside. I think the three schools that watched them destroy conferences would need some pretty strong assurances before voting them in though.
