attend school and learn. They are forced to by their parents and society.
Educated individuals are the end product of our educational system. We get five-year-olds at various stages of development, with varying abilities and sometimes with serious dysfunctions when it comes to educating them. Thirteen years later we are expected to churn out an educated individual.
The quality of that end product depends on a number of variables but the most important is the individual themselves.
