I understand the desire and some needs to have some basic standardization and stuff like that...but our school systems have basically become mini-factories, and if you don't fit, you are screwed.

Even for me, there are some things I can teach myself quite well, and there are some things, I need to be treated like an idiot and spoonfed over and over the information.

This desire to treat people like robots or an assembly line is just dumb...and it does nothing for the real world where we do need lots of variability out there...
