country & Disneyworld. One big difference is that one could avoid Disneyworld if one wanted to. Another is that Disneyworld is itself constrained by laws.
There's a reason anarchies are not stable for long, especially on a large scale. Undoubtedly man's original state was one of anarchy like it is for other animals.
Families stuck together and eventually became tribes. Tribes eventually became nations. Families that went it alone could not compete with bigger tribes and tribes couldn't compete with nations.
When we see nations dissolve into anarchy life become hell for the people who live there. Armed factions tend to form and warlords battle it out for power, influence and wealth.
If the US govt. dissolved and so did the state and city governments perhaps things might be ok for a little while, but undoubtedly those with influence, money & power would start to wield that power, money and influence to their own advantage.
A Soros or some drug lord(s) could buy up bridges across the Mississippi & Missouri Rivers and have everyone by the balls. If one or more of them didn't like you or wanted to squeeze you out of business... and didn't want to do so with outright force and aggression, they could potentially buy up roads around you &/or have friends and allies do so and leave you up a creek without a paddle.
Alternatively, a hodge podge of owners of roads from Florida to California could make a long trip something of a nightmare. Different owners could have different rules and who would want to look up 75 different sets of laws for such a journey?
Guns might be perfectly fine for 50 of those different owners, for instance, but 25 of them might have various restrictions up to & including imprisonment.
Sure, people would tend to figure things out... until one owner passed away and his kids took over & changed the rules/laws for their section of highway.
